Mr. Scott,

I want to share some information with you about the historical evidence of business activities of Culver Ready For Finish Furniture.

There is no creditable evidence that the finishing of furniture was done by Culver Ready For Finish Furniture (CRFFF) before 1996.  This unsubstantiated belief has cost my neighborhood and specifically my wife and I greatly.

I ask you go to 4366 Sepulveda and to take a look at the store text above the windows, on the front of the building. "We Sand and Deliver - You Finish and Save" That has been the tag line of the store historically.

I ask you to listen to these very short - less that a minute - two audio recordings from the Municipal Code Amnesty, even though he is a Commercial Tenant. FYI - No one in my neighborhood was ever notified of the hearing where manufacturing was allowed to be carried on across an alley from my neighborhood.

First recording, 1997 MCAC Hearing - This may take minute to load and then will just start playing- you may have to adjust the volume on your computer

Second recording, 1999 MCAC Hearing- Past Conversation becomes a Letter.

I made public document request for historical evidence that the City has about the activity carried on at CRFFF and got the following information back. Here is a link to the document response.

I spoke to Bob Little and here is a letter I asked him to write after he explained
that he never talked to the City about CRFFF. He also called his father while I was there an
asked Ed about his speaking with the City about CRFFF. Bob told me his father had no recall
of any conversation with the City. To download the letter just click on it.

Bob Little Letter

I will let you draw your own conclusion to why these untrue statements and documents were used to allow a business to break the law.

There is so much misinformation about this business and the belief that the City has given due process to me and my wife and our neighborhood in this matter.

Lastly, for now. Here is a copy of the business license from the previous store owner, the one before the current tenant/business owner. USE - SELL UNFINISHED FURNITURE.

Below is a copy of the 1985 business license listing the activity of the business. To download this document below just click on it.
